Pepsi Has Confirmed Sell Pepsi Phone in the Near Future

What A Bold Action for Pepsi to sell Pepsi Phone.

According to Chinese Site Sina, Pepsi will sell its exclusive cellphone and cell phone accessories in China.

"Available in China only, this effort is similar to recent globally licensed Pepsi products which include apparel and accessories," a PepsiCo spokeswoman told Reuters via email.

But the spokeswoman did not name the licensing partner or give any further details about the phone.

Pepsi P1 include a 5.5-inch, 1,080p display; 1.7GHz CPU; 2GB RAM; 16GB storage and a 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera. The Android 5.1 phone (Lollipop) will cost roughly the equivalent of $205 (about RMB1299) and is set to launch on October 20.

October 20 looks to be the launch date for the phone as well with a rumored event in Beijing - pretty much confirming the phone will be a China exclusive.
